meh, the ps3 has it's merits but most of them aren't about gameplay... especially since xbox makes a point of getting in on any and every good game forcing the ps3 to lose some of it's graphical potential... also I'm broke.
Has anybody actually told you what to do? It's a 2-3 week process. Call up Microsoft. Tech support. "Hey, I got the 3 red Lights. I'm covered by your 3 year warranty. Here's my serial Number my address and name." They'll send you a shipping box Tell the UPS guy to wait. Pack the 360 without the hard drive and keep the tracking number.
After 5-7 days of shipping it. call them up go get updated on your current situation.
The new systems with the HDMI ports have like a 3% chance of fucking up on ya, BTW. PS3 still has a 5% chance and you'll only realize it's messed up when there's huge nuclear hole in your floor because of it. =\ Good luck man.
Oh. BTW is castle crashers that good?
castle crashers was incredibly polished and detailed... but it's god-awful in single player...
i got the red ring once and somhow my dad fixed we were confused as to how but we didn't care it worked. hopefully you'll get it back without it red ringing on you again
a couple weeks prior I got the rings from a blackout but all I had to do was pull the cord out and put it back
Yep, I had the red ring just as Castle Crashers came out. My 360 came back 2 days ago and I downloaded Castle Crashers. Now after 2 days of playing it, my 360 is having issues again.
P.S. Impressive portfolio. I especially like the destructible terrain platformer.
from a programming stand point it's probably my favourite
My friend sent his in and it only took two and a half weeks to get it back.
I've had mine for nearly three years and the only problem I've had is with my disks getting scratched(Which I fixed with the help of a youtube video).
If you're still under the extended warranty I suggest you send it in to Microsoft. If you're not, don't waste your time on self repair, just start saving up for a new one.
crap, it's been pretty long...
i got mine back like a month later it sucked. oh yeah the thing deathchain is talking about is actually the fake ring of death it happens when the cords aren't plugged in the real red ring is three lights not four.
yes, I'm aware.
go ebay. buy a repair kit. open your fucking xbox and stick the glue on the thing (cant remember what it is but its near the hard drive connector thing). happened to me 6 times. fixed it all those times. the glue stuff they give u isnt exactly permeanant (u have to use it multiple times) but it keeps ur xbox happy for around 6 months per time (every time u fix it)
ps: i still havnt used half my glue.
Hello, how are you. What was the song you used in that coding profile?

Bring it back to where you bought it, I brought mine back to best buy and they replaced it instantly.
